Group Schemes

Whether its customers you want to reward or members and employees you want to retain, then Distinct Advantage has a solution for you. Below are some examples to give some ideas, but it is best to speak to us so we can tailor things to suit your exact situation:

Customers

We set up an arrangement with a Solar Energy company so that they would provide each customer that had an installation with a complimentary membership of Distinct Advantage Club.

Firstly that is a “thank you” to the customer and secondly, if the customer uses the discount scheme to their full advantage they can save nearly £1000* per year and that goes a long way to off-setting the installation costs. Indeed it is calculated that it takes around 8 -10 years to get the costs back from installing the solar panels, but using the Distinct Advantage Club membership could halve that time.

Members

The average golf club has an annual membership fee of £650. If membership of Distinct Advantage Club was included as part of the membership then the potential savings, nearly £1000* per year, more than off-sets the golf club membership fee.

That principle works within any membership club,  for example gyms, football clubs, cricket clubs, etc.

Surely that has to be a strong retention and recruitment incentive.

Charities

All charities are seeing their donations suffer as those that support them feel squeezed in today’s tough  financial environment.

If there was a way to ease that financial burden then would that not in turn help individual supporters to maintain their donations? Again membership of Distinct Advantage Club can enable an average family to save nearly £1000* per year.

Food for thought – a million supporters all saving around £1000* per year would add up to £1 billion. If each gave 10% of their savings to the charity then that would be £100 million per year.

We believe charities should explore different ways to encourage donations – if you carry on doing what you have always done then you will get what you always got.

Employers

During these times of austerity it will be difficult to give staff a salary increase despite the fact inflation is at around 5% (RPI).

It is all too easy to say to someone that they are at least lucky to have a job and we have even seen councils terminating the contracts of employees and offering to re-hire them on lower salary terms. That will hardly engender loyalty and engage the goodwill of the workforce – by far one of the greatest assets a business has.

Average earnings are around £25,000 per year. If employers provided membership of Distinct Advantage Club as a benefit to all employees the average family could save around £1000* per year – that is like giving a 4% salary increase, tax free. The cost for a workforce say around 500 would be approximately 0.04% of salary based on the average figures stated.

That, by any stretch of the imagination, is good value and one way to engage staff by providing real help with everyday living costs.

Finally

Don’t ask people who are important to you to “beg” for a reward and as a consequence lose them to a rival because you have not given them proper recognition. Take the initiative to reward and retain them. Please see our contact information on the contact us page and we would be glad to arrange an informal discussion.
